Counseling at Sapphire Streams is both clinically sound and rooted in Scripture. Our approach combines evidence-based clinical training — including EMDR, Biofeedback, CBT, and more — with a deep belief that true healing is ultimately the work of grace. We hold both together in every session: sound therapeutic practice for the mind and body, and a steady confidence that no story is too broken to be redeemed. You don't have to choose between getting good clinical help and being met with faith. Here, you get both.
What to Expect
Walking into a counselor's office for the first time can feel vulnerable, even daunting. At Sapphire Springs, you can expect a room where you are fully seen and fully known — no performance required. Sessions are unhurried and personal, shaped around your story rather than a one-size-fits-all method. Shanda has spent over twenty years where the church and the counseling room meet. Licensed since 2006 and rooted in both clinical training and biblical truth, she has a heart for walking alongside women through the hard and holy work of healing — and believing, by God's grace, that transformation is always possible.
